A putative endogenous ligand for cannabinoid receptors that competitively binds to both CB1 and CB2. Induces Ca2+ transients in NG108-15 cells expressing CB1 receptor and HL-60 cells exhibiting CB2 receptor. Exhibits potent antiproliferative activity on EFM-19 human breast cancer cells (IC50 = 0.5 - 1.0 µM).
