From raw materials supplier to full-service provider
The history of Iriodin® and other effect pigments begins in 1959 with the construction of a production facility in Gernsheim, Germany for the manufacturing of basic lead carbonate pigments. Today the Iriodin® brand name is globally synonymous for effect pigments. With the introduction of new product families, Merck pigments have expanded into a wide selection. The developments range from innovations in the decorative area, for example the newly introduced Pyrisma® interference pigments, to functional pigments such as Solarflair® and Minatec®. Numerous service tools like wall covering sample books, color forecasts and the most varied demonstration materials round out our offerings.
