To help you to improve and simplify your biopharmaceutical production processes, Merck now operates four global centers of excellence- two in Asia (ATTC in Taiwan and MCBC in Shanghai), one in Europe and one in the United States. All four Global Applied Technology centers provide expert advice and practical support on a wide range of key topics such as biopharmaceutical processes, Fractogel, column testing, downstream processing strategies, process chromatography, purification strategies, process performance optimization, process economy, scale-up strategies and troubleshooting.

Merck offers in-depth biopharmaceutical training programs in three key areas: Dialogue, Experience and Education. The Dialogue course comprises theoretical presentations and discussions with opinion leaders, Merck specialists and multiple customers. The Experience course involves practical hands-on training on column packing.

The Education course provides theoretical training for industry newcomers, and covers upstream, downstream, formulation and regulatory affairs. Our new workshops are designed for process development scientists, chemical and biochemical engineers, R&D scientists, downstream process managers, and people interested in gaining a deeper understanding of chromatographic purification processes.
