Detects and quantifies the level of MEK1 protein that is dually phosphorylated at Ser218 and Ser222. MEK1 is a member of the MEK family of dual specificity protein kinases which phosphorylates threonine and tyrosine residues on MAP kinases ERK 1 and 2. Activation of MEK1 is critically involved in a wide range of cellular processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. This kit is designed for use with human and mouse cells.
