We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do not currently have an alternative product. We currently carry only the active form of this product, Glucagon Receptor Antagonist I (Cat. No. 346001)
A cell-permeable thienyl-amide compound that serves as an inactive control for Glucagon Receptor Antagonist (Cat. No. 346001). Displays weak affinity to hGCGR and is ineffective in preventing glucagon binding (20% inhibition at 10 µM in membranes prepared from CHO-hGCGR) and glucagon-, forskolin-, and GIP-induced cAMP production (10% inhibition in CHO-hGCGR cells). Only minimally suppresses glucagon-induced glycogenolysis in human primary hepatocytes.
