Full Length, recombinant, human SUMO-3 expressed in E. coli. Conjugation of mature SUMO proteins to specific lysine residues on target proteins via isopeptide bonds, is involved in a range of processes including altered subcellular localization of target proteins involved in cell cycle, transcription, cell death, and stress response, as well as membrane-associated receptors, and viral proteins. This SUMO-3 protein (92 amino acids) can be used as a substrate for sumoylation reactions or as a control in SENP protease assays.
