Efficient and continuous prevention of premature skin aging RonaCare® AP acts as an "Advanced Protection System" safeguarding against the signs of premature skin aging. When exposed to UV radiation, a protective system comprising a three-phase mechanism is initiated: oxidative stress is dimmed, UV protection is built up and the formation of further reactive species is prevented. As a result, the protective level of the system is not only maintained, but is even increased. RonaCare® AP continuously exerts its effect over 24 hours, i.e. day and night. It is the ideal partner for the UV filter systems used in sunscreens and day-care cosmetics as its activity continues long after exposure to the sun has ceased, extending overnight. Once applied to the skin, RonaCare® AP can even adapt its protective capacity to the skin conditions of the individual. Cosmetic products can thus now be supplemented by a new category of 'thinking' cosmetics. |

Protection of components of the sebum The superb antioxidant activity was shown in established in vitro experiments and in vivo in a test on ß-carotene. Components of the sebum, i.e. lipids of the skin surface that provide skin softness, immune support and protection from UV rays, are additionally protected. This was demonstrated in an in vitro test. |

Stabilization of UV filters Bis-Ethylhexyl Hydroxydimethoxy Benzylmalonate - the active ingredient in RonaCare® AP - demonstrates excellent long-term activity combined with outstanding stability. The substance is a colorless and completely transparent oil that can dissolve solid UV filters at very high rates. Thanks to its unique effectiveness, UV filters like Avobenzone or Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate can be stabilized. |
